"“The Sunset Sinners' music, like a barrel of fine whiskey, keeps getting better.” - Bourbon & Vinyl

Sunset Sinners

BIO

The Sunset Sinners are a high-energy Americana/Southern Rock band based out of Salina, Kansas. With a sound they've dubbed "Whiskey Barrel Rock" - a gritty fusion of 70s rock and outlaw country - the Sinners blend influences like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, Whiskey Myers and the Allman Brothers into their own brand of rowdy, beer-drinkin' tunes.

Formed in 2018, the band is comprised of Blake Blackim (drums), Tony Bowell (vocals/guitar), Nick Schlyer (lead guitar), Sean Herrington (bass) and special guest Brittany Blackim (flute). The Sunset Sinners have quickly amassed a diehard following in the Midwest and beyond with their electrifying live shows performing both original gems and "Sinnerized" classic covers. Their passion for music is matched only by their steadfast support of active military, veterans and first responders.

The band's raucous music video for "Always Time for One More Beer" went viral with over 1 million Facebook views. Their single "Coming Home" featured production from GRAMMY winners like Andrew Scheps (mixing) and Pete Lyman (mastering), as well as artwork from the GRAMMY-winning Dodds sisters. Brand new re-mastered versions of their hit songs “Always Time for One More Beer” and “Friday Night” are available now.

In their short career, The Sunset Sinners have already racked up impressive accolades - a 2021 Group of the Year nomination at the Josie Music Awards, winning Best Southern/Country Rock Act, and four entries on the Nashville Music Row Chart. They've shared the stage with major acts like Lonestar, Stoney LaRue, Warrant and Quiet Riot.

With a rapidly growing international fanbase, a dynamic new single/remaster, and a stacked 2024 touring schedule including Wild West Fest and other major festivals, The Sunset Sinners are just getting revved up. This "Whiskey Barrel Rock" crew is full throttle, payin' homage to the classic sounds that inspired them while forging ahead with a rowdy spirit all their own.
